Adecco Chester are currently recruiting on behalf of the FCIN team for a Technical Specialist.
The purpose of this role is to assist in the formation of scientific method validation design strategies, ensuring adherence to them, which will lead to developing and strengthening the collision science aspects of the network.
Salary: £41, – £44,
Hours: Monday – Friday, full time hours
Duration : Permanent
Location : Mainly home based, with the requirement to travel around England and Wales including regular visits to North Wales.

Key Requirements:
Maintain a high standard of technical competence in Forensic Collision Investigation and ensure innovative methods and practices are identified and employed within the FCIN.
Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of International and National standards providing science related advice on ISO, UKAS, ILAC and FSR standards, regulations, and associated requirements.
Monitor the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of relevant scientific standards across the whole FCIN, participating in regular science review meetings.
Offer informed scientific insight on relevant enquiries.
Key Skills:
Excellent communication, presentational and interpersonal skills are essential for the role-holder to be effective.
The post holder will have a working knowledge of health and safety requirements related to this environment and can apply this knowledge practically in the workplace, to support the attainment of accreditation.
The post holder will have the skills and ability to co-ordinate staff across the FCIN, in respect of method validation and maintaining scientific standards.
IT skills are essential.
