Head of Workforce Change and Organisational Development

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to help shape the future of our organisation. Reporting to the Director of HR and Customer Services, you will play a leading role in shaping and delivering the Workforce Plans, with a particular focus on Workforce Change and Organisational Development to cover: –

  • Strategic and operational leadership of the HR Workforce Change and organisational development (OD) capability.
  • Designing and implementing fit-for-purpose organisation change to align organisational strategies and structures.
  • Implement our workforce vision and strategies by leading on HR Services with Portfolio Leadership Teams
  • Manage the Learning, Development & Talent Service, aligning strategy to business needs, driving OD and culture change.
  • Strong commitment to, and understanding of, how equality, diversity and inclusion enables an organisation to be successful
  • You will work alongside other senior leaders as well as be a critical member of the HR leadership team. We are seeking a person with experience of:-

  • Leading and delivering major transformation, OD and culture change through agile and responsive people management strategies
  • Working with other senior leaders across a complex organisation, using your influencing skills to build credibility and support
  • Leading and developing a team of specialists for high performance and a positive culture consistent with our values.
  • You will also be skilled in:-

  • Leadership and people management skills to motivate, coach and develop team members for high performance
  • High level communication and collaboration skills to present, influence and represent the organisation
  • Collaboration skills to build relationships, navigate politics, manage conflicts and resolve complex HR issues
  • Business management skills to understand strategy, business functions and decision making
  • Strategic workforce business planning to ensure all relevant parts of the organisation work in harmony to deliver organisational success
