Prospectus is pleased to be partnering a homelessness charity whose mission is to build home, enable lasting change and end homelessness for people in East London. They are looking to recruit two Assessment Worker to support a caseload of client with complex needs in one of their Assessment Hub in Newham. These positions are offered as a temporary assignment initially for one – two months.

As one of their Assessment Workers, you will provide an effective, and high-quality support service to residents in their Direct Access Assessment Hub who have high, complex support needs as part of their new partnership in Newham. You will act as a principle provider of support and will work alongside Assistant Support Workers, to promote resident engagement through the development of positive relationships and contributing towards the promotion of a fulfilling, safe and inclusive environment.

To be successful, you will have demonstrable experience and understanding of a range of approaches appropriate to working with challenging behaviour including current drug and/or alcohol use, antisocial behaviour and complex needs. You will have previous experience of working with a caseload of client in a trauma-informed way combined with the ability to produce and approach referrals, needs and risk assessment and building positive reports with residents, colleagues and stakeholders. Knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting supported housing and vulnerable adult groups is essential.

To be considered, you must be willing to work 37.5 hours per week, across a 7 day rota of Early, Mid and Late shifts.
