National World plc is looking to recruit a Trainee Accountant to join its Headoffice finance team based in central London.
The ideal candidate will be studying for a professional accountancy qualification (study support package provided).
This is an amazing opportunity for a candidate looking to take their first step within Finance. You may have recently graduated and be looking for a role that will excite and challenge you, and will also give you great exposure to the multi-media industry.
The role is for a Hybrid worker based in our London office (2-3 days central London office based, remaining days from home).
Key Responsibilities
- Management account preparation and journal postings
- Support the Forecast and Annual Budget requirements
- Assist with statutory requirements for listed Plc interim and year-end reporting
- Prepare monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
- Identify and implement process improvements
Qualities required
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, including good Excel skills
- A high attention to detail is essential whilst working under pressure to meet deadlines
- A flexible and positive attitude to work
- Articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Studying towards an Accountancy Qualification (ACCA)
