Driver Hire are currently seeking a warehouse operative in Basingstoke to work for a leading paint and dry goods supplier on a Temp to Perm basis .

As a warehouse operative, you will be responsible for providing a professional and efficient service, ensuring stock is received, stored and organised safely and within set time scales. You will also be taught how to mix paints.

Duties will include:

  • Loading and Offloading vehicles
  • Repalletizing stock
  • Dealing with customer requests at the depot
  • Move vehicles in the yard
  • Mixing paints based on customer orders
  • Lifting items up to 25kg (Must be physically fit)

    • Successful applicants will be offered a salary of £20,500 and will be working a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday with 7.30am starts.

    The pay rates on offer during the temp to perm are as follows:

  • £10.00 per hour

    • These rates are paid on a PAYE model, and are inclusive of advanced holiday pay.

    There is a minimum of 8 hours pay per shift.
