Key responsibilities:
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and other disciplines to develop deep insight into our business and customers
Ensure personas, journeys, experience outcomes, and key scenarios are detailed, prioritized, and understood throughout the organization
Synthesize insights coming from a wide spectrum of sources into testable hypotheses targeting the problems that are most valuable to the business
Lead the team through ideation to the delivery of low- and mid-fidelity flows and screens as needed, partnering with central UX design resources as required for production support
Connect user needs to business objectives and use relevant OKRs, metrics, and analysis tools so we can measure how focusing on the former achieves the latter
Ensure UX workflows and deliverables are fully integrated into master schedules and aligned with team sprints
Requirements:
Degree in a UX related field or equivalent experience; a minimum of 7 years in a core UX role with an emphasis on discovery is required and B2B experience strongly preferred
Comfort with (and passion for!) technical products that dive deep into complex, heterogeneous data sources: we make valuable order out of data chaos
Ability to partner with technical staff to develop detailed service blueprints mapping to user journeys
Passion to develop deep subject matter expertise for your area of our business
Experience working with remote and distributed teams: Cirium is an international company and we have teams across the globe
Comfort leading discovery for both v1 and existing products, including observation and interviewing techniques, facilitating design workshops, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative research
Capable of producing detailed and comprehensive heuristic evaluations and recommendations
Familiarity with application analytics, A/B testing, and key metrics
An online portfolio providing insight into your process and reflecting the scope of your contributions to product development
Experience embedding with engineering & product squads and exceptional ability to foster cross-team collaborative relationships
