Community Forensic CAMHS South West (North) is pleased to be hosting the Enhanced Case Management Service (ECM) within its region. The FCAMH Service has an exciting opportunity for two Principal Clinical or Forensic Psychologists to join our supportive and friendly team. ECM is a psychology-led approach that sits with in Youth Justice Services and uses multi-agency case formulation to understand what has happened to a child alongside their developmental needs, strengths and protective factors. This informs the way practitioners work with and support children to achieve better outcomes and develop their strengths and potential. ECM is founded in the Trauma Recovery Model and keeps the child at the centre of its thinking. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical/Forensic psychologist to lead on the psychological part of the ECM service. The psychologist will be well supported by the hosting Community Forensic CAMHS. Although ECM is a pure consultation service, the connection to Community Forensic CAMHS will enable some direct work with young people. Not only will the work enable the psychologist to make a difference to some of the most marginalised and traumatised young people in the region, but also they will be well placed bring more psychological thinking to youth Justice Services. There is also the opportunity to work in a beautiful part of the country with areas of countryside and wonderful cities.
