Role

  • Support Commercial Manager in setting and reviewing the prices of fuel and managing fuel stock inventory
  • Analyzing competitors fuel pricing to adapt our own rates on a daily basis to ensure optimum profitability
  • Recommending new/further pricing strategies to maximise business potential
  • Producing regular summaries and reports on pricing and profitability performance
  • Provide analytical support to ensure optimum cost & time efficiency for logistics
  • Attending and contributing to daily Pricing Meetings, setting value-based prices for the core product ranges, taking into consideration business requirements, forecast and market fluctuation
  • Collate and distribute pricing KPI data to management and sales colleagues, confirming the sell-price for the following trading day
  • Review competitor behaviour to ensure the business remains the preferred supplier within the geographic location
  • Undertake stock reconciliation of individual customer invoices
  • Perform month-end stock reporting
  • Keep up to date on current industry news and issues
  • About you

  • Experience of working within a similar role
  • Detailed knowledge and demonstrative experience of Customer Service Excellence
  • Detailed knowledge and demonstrative experience of working towards key performance indicators
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Able to show initiative and make decisions in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Maintain a professional attitude, demonstrating empathy, compassion and commitment when dealing with customers and colleagues
  • Articulate, organised and customer-focused
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office packages, with advanced knowledge of Excel
