We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to operationally manage the delivery of a national collaborative research programme in primary immunodeficiency, funded by a £4M Wellcome Trust Collaborative Award.
Reporting to the Chair of the Strategy Committee with full and direct liaison with the Principal Investigators leading each of the component Work Packages the postholder will: work closely with the referring consultants at the 27 contributing centres around the UK (representing more than 90% of UK PID/Genome England Clinical Interpretation Partnership centres), the NIHR National BioResource, Genomics England Ltd and the Cambridge Human Immune Challenge Facility; line manage project staff contributing to the programme; and will carry overall responsibility for the operational delivery of the patient recall, sequencing and phenotyping components of the project. The post holder will also have responsibility for financial oversight of the project and delivery of the target KPIs.
The post holder will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, have substantial experience in complying with UK statutory requirements and principles of Good Clinical Practice, and experience of: data management and report generation; writing research protocols; and recruitment to research studies and/or clinical trials.
