We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join an ambitious community interest company.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a critical role in the growth of the organisations plan to expand their housing stock to 10,000 by 2024. You will join an ever-growing team responsible for all Facilities Management/Asset Managment and Compliance activities. You will report directly into the Head of Facilities Management but work collaboratively with the wider teams providing support when required.

Key Requirements:

  • Establish and maintain an effective Supply Chain of Approved Contractors for P1, P2, P3 repairs and potentially the wider FM vehicle
  • Manage the commercial resources of the assigned project portfolio and handle planned expenditure through the placement and control of contracts
  • Manage the Soft FM Team (5+), advise and co-ordinate contractor usage and expenditure across the Facilities Management Department
  • Produce reports and statements relative to expenditure with a view to improving efficiencies and showing cost savings and efficiencies moving forwards
  • They are ideally looking for a candidate who has worked for a Housing Association or construction/FM company in the past.
