Salary: £27,000 – £39,000 per annum (Band 5 / 6 ) negotiable depending on experience
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours – NO NIGHTS
Contract type: Permanent
About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Theatre Practitioner / Nurse to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Norwich. The hospital has state of the art facilities, and this is an excellent opportunity for a Theatre Practitioner / Nurse to join their friendly theatre team. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Theatre Practitioner / Nurse to join them. The service offers a range of services and procedures including orthopaedic, joint replacements, plastics, gynaecology, ENT and general surgery.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as part of the theatre team as Theatre Practitioner / Nurse and responsible for the following;
Assist and care for patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures
Prepare patients for surgery
Review patient charts and confirm data
Prepare medical equipment for surgery
Monitor patient’s condition during surgery
Cover Anaesthetic duties when required
Supporting patients through their recover period post- surgery
Who we’re looking for
Be NMC/ HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
At least 2 years’ theatre experience- scrub, anaesthetic or recovery
Experience in a variety of surgical procedures
Experience working under minimal supervision
