Supply Chain Coordinator based in Runcorn

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Rate of pay is £12.82 per hour (Temp to perm role)

Summary

Manage the client & supplier orders in close collaboration with the Inside Sales Representatives and Sales & Product Managers and assure efficient and flexible service to the clients of the allocated Business Unit.

Reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

Tasks

  • Follow up of purchase orders, enter them in the system and assure proper coding (Intrastat, VAT);

  • Follow up of sales orders, enter them in the system and assure proper coding (Intrastat, VAT);

  • Handle the client orders and ensure close follow up of customer requirements;

  • Organise the transport of the products to the clients according to the predetermined rules and in collaboration with external transport partners;

  • Organise the purchase orders based on the Sales orders forecast, keeping stock at minimum levels in close collaboration with the Sales Team;

  • Ensure close communication with the clients/suppliers on orders and send the required information;

  • Follow up of price changes through offers and price requests;

  • Solve possible transport or delivery problems;

  • Follow up of price changes through offers and price requests;

  • Management of transport invoices in case of dispute;

  • Follow the correct guidelines: certification/customer and legal requirements to e.g. product, environment, safety and health, code of conduct etc.

  • Be vigilant for use/misuse of substances of trade control and assure direct communication in case of doubt. Only trained employees are authorised to perform orders related to substances of trade control; � Act as AX key User.
