In turn they are looking for a product owners to own the delivery road-maps and development routine. You have the opportunity to work across a flat structure of unlimited technical resources, and the ability to chip in with ideas, structure and discipline.

The Product Owner will be responsible for:

  • Work with users to understand business requirements and identify and pursue opportunities for improvements in the user journey – or the technical delivery of the IT estate
  • Working with Product vendors to make changes
  • Have a deep understanding of the application design, the ‘as-built’ configuration and operational support model, including associated ‘run books’ covering deployment and support standards.
  • Influencing the roadmap planning and driving the change delivery priorities.
  • Manage total cost of ownership of applications by planning and sponsoring maintenance, upgrade and decommission activity.
  • Make key decisions on performance and operability including capacity and availability management, anticipating business demands and operational acceptance testing criteria.
  • Contribute to service catalogue management and controlling appropriate user access

A successful candidate will have:

  • IT Background with 3+ years of experience in a Technology delivery role
  • Articulate and good communicator with the ability to communicate technical issues in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Experience of IT product or application ownership
  • A passion for making improvements and bias for action
  • Strong knowledge of architecture methodologies, principles, and frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of the team – in a “start up” mentality

Salary:

  • £40,000 – £50,000
