Safety Engineer
We have a new opportunity for an experienced Safety Engineer to join a Controls and Automation business based in Spalding. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing team of experienced Engineers who are dedicated to providing electrical engineering solutions to the food, beverage and agrotechnology sectors.
Key Responsibilities include
Attend site to complete PUWER assessments and reports
Assist Project Engineers with Designers Risk Assessments
Champion for Functional Safety
Completion of design reviews
Safety Validation
Qualifications & Experience
TUV FS Tech or equivalent qualification
Good communicator and can work well in a team
Can-do attitude
Experience using SISTEMA or Siemens SET
Working knowledge of BS EN 12100
Experience in the Food and Beverage Industry
Excellent understanding of safety systems in accordance with ISO 13849
Electrical knowledge; able to read and sketch up drawings and understand equipment connections and functionality
