Safety Engineer

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Safety Engineer to join a Controls and Automation business based in Spalding. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing team of experienced Engineers who are dedicated to providing electrical engineering solutions to the food, beverage and agrotechnology sectors.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Attend site to complete PUWER assessments and reports
  • Assist Project Engineers with Designers Risk Assessments
  • Champion for Functional Safety
  • Completion of design reviews
  • Safety Validation
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • TUV FS Tech or equivalent qualification
  • Good communicator and can work well in a team
  • Can-do attitude
  • Experience using SISTEMA or Siemens SET
  • Working knowledge of BS EN 12100
  • Experience in the Food and Beverage Industry
  • Excellent understanding of safety systems in accordance with ISO 13849
  • Electrical knowledge; able to read and sketch up drawings and understand equipment connections and functionality
