This role will support dissemination and communication on policy, scientific and educational activities for the AIMS-2-TRIALS consortium. The role will work with the director, communications manager, research associate and autism community engagement coordinator based in Cambridge along with collaborators across the Consortium (UK, EU and beyond). The role holder will work alongside a second science communicator post working on the project and duties will be divided between these 2 roles in accordance with expertise and experience.

Key aspects of the role:

1) The primary priority for this role will be the planning and organisation of events and materials with the aim of education (including webinars, workshops, online training, videos etc.)

2) Ensure grant activities are appropriately publicised within the consortium and to the general public.

3) Produce dissemination, communication and education materials and distribute to a range of audiences including the general public, clinicians, stakeholders (e.g. autism community, charities, policy regulators, government organisations, and consortium collaborators).

Applicants should possess a first degree in science communication or relevant experience alongside a degree in Psychology, Medical Sciences or a related degree.

Applicants should demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, experience communicating scientific information to a range of audiences and in different formats and experience of online events organisation such as webinars and training sessions.
