Role: Technical Project Manager

Location: Black Country

Key duties:

– Ensure creation and smooth running of project board with adequate level of board members and attendance

– Managing a multi-disciplinary Project Team and project across the organisation, and all levels of staff

– Implementing ICT projects in conjunction with clinical staff at all levels, understanding the impact of systems on processes

– Overseeing budgets and resources that are assigned to projects to ensure projects are delivered to cost, quality and time

– The development of Proposals, Project Briefs, PIDs, Project Plans, and reporting structures to support projects in accordance with the PRINCE2 Project Management methodology

Required skills:

– Project management skills and expertise across an agreed project

– Meticulous coordination skills to organise project planning / review meetings and to provide feedback at Project Team / Project Manager meetings as required and have the ability to make adjustments if targets are not met

– Relationship managements skills; able to build and maintain positive and productive relationships across a broad range of stakeholders

– Administration experience to produce regular weekly reports and associated documentation, and to maintain project information system

– Experience relaying technical information to non-technical people

– Ability to attend and facilitate workshops, meetings, and other events at various locations to support the requirements of the service
