Robert Half are proudly representing a healthcare charity who are recruiting for multiple Customer Service Assistants on a temporary basis. The role is based in North Bristol, BS34, and we are looking to get people started at the beginning of April for 3 – 6 months.

The salary is £20,000, however, when further training is completed, an uplift in pay is offered. The roles are full office based and the office has free parking! Please be aware, an enhanced DBS check is essential for this position.

The hours available fall into three shift patterns, Monday – Friday:

  • 9am to 5pm
  • 10am to 6pm
  • 12pm to 8pm

Main duties of the Customer Service Assistants:

  • Taking inbound calls only
  • Answering calls via a sophisticated in-house system
  • Booking follow up calls or referrals for customers
  • Ensuring the needs of the customer are dealt with in a sensitive way
  • Having to deal with difficult conversations
  • Logging calls on internal systems
  • Reporting calls targets to team weekly

Ideal requirements of the candidate:

  • Experience of working within a contact centre role dealing with both inbound calls
  • An understanding of working in the charity sector; a caring and empathetic outlook is essential
  • Familiar with hitting targets and working to an excellent standard
  • Confident in the use of various computer systems
  • If you can speak another language, this would be advantageous but not an essential requirement
  • Previous experience from a customer service environment, ideally in the health care industry
