SEND Teacher
Location – Warrington, UK

The Education Network is currently seeking experienced SEND Teacher for a very well respected SEND School in the central Warrington area. The role will involve teaching Key Stage 4, years 10 & 11 pupils with ASD. You will be teaching a mixture of English & Maths to lower attaining pupils (entry level1/2), and therefore we would accept applications from those who are either Primary or Secondary trained. Ideally you will worked in a previous complex needs environment, or have a strong desire to teach in and SEND provision-experience of ASD and behaviour management strategies is desirable. We would also encourage applications from those with experience of delivering ASDAN/PSD qualifications. This is a long term, full time post to commence post Easter 2022.

We regularly recruit good Teachers and Teaching Assistants for this school to assist on a day-to-day basis, as well as longer term roles as they become available-many of which have led on to permanent positions within the school. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience within a fantastic school specialising in educating students with Complex Learning Needs. The school has consistently been rated as ‘Excellent’ in the last 3 OfSted inspections. The school caters for students from EYFS up to A-Level (having a shared VI Form facility on site).

You will have experience of, and enjoy working with students who have complex SEND learning requirements-gained in a similar school environment. The school is easily accessible by public transport (bus/train), should you not have access to your own vehicle.
