About the Planning & Infrastructure Consenting Team

Located within the Real Estate Division, the Planning & Infrastructure Consenting Team operates nationally with lawyers in Manchester, London, Leeds and Scotland. The team consists of four partners and seven other fee-earners and has ambitious growth plans.

The work within the team is of the highest quality and involves providing comprehensive and pro-active advice on the full range of planning issues with particular emphasis on projects in the housing, regeneration, energy and transport sectors. They also advise on major infrastructure consenting acting for promoters and affected parties, planning and highway law, compulsory purchase and compensation, environmental impact and habitats.

About the opportunity

We are looking for a newly qualified or recently qualified Lawyer to join our ambitious and thriving team.

You will have the chance to work on a broad range of planning matters building on your knowledge your experience. Our Lawyers benefit from working in a national team, with the ability to get involved with high profile work for our key clients including: developers, major retailers, large utility companies, various corporate organisations and local authorities.

Along with excellent communication skills, we are seeking candidates with a genuine interest in planning law and some grounding in your training contract around planning law.
