SEN Administrator

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN School Administrator with strong IT skills and experience of SIMS to work in an SEN setting in Brent, North-West London. This is a full time role to start ASAP, paying between £12.00 – £13.50 per hour and will be long term until July at least, with the view to continue into September 2022.

Within this role as a SEN School Administrator, you will provide administrative and student support service within the faculty, maintain manual and computerised records for SEN information in SIMS and provide communication support for the Inclusion faculty including phone calls, emails, meeting scheduling, minute taking and letter typing. You will be the first point of contact to all visitors and parents, providing a warm and professional welcome. You will be on hand to answer any telephone or email enquiries and will be responsible for inputting data onto SIMS and creating reports for data analysis on Attendance, Behaviour and Performance in addition to any other duties as may be appropriate as directed and deemed appropriated by the Line Manager.

This Brent school is an all-through SEN School which provides for pupils aged 5 to 16 years old who have either been permanently excluded from mainstream school or are on a placement. It is a very small school, with only 82 students so it is a lovely community-feel within the school. The school has been rated ‘Good’ consistently by Ofsted.

Located in Brent, North-West London, the school has great public transport links with access to bus routes, the Jubilee Line and the Northern Line. There is also on-site parking for those who have access to a car.

Essential Requirements: :

  • SIMS experience
  • Minimum of 1 year school administration experience
  • Good ICT skills
  • Excellent communication skills with fluent English, both written and verbal.
