We are currently seeking an experienced civil engineering design engineer to join our busy planning and development infrastructure team, working on medium and large scale property development projects, including commercial, residential, retail and education sector developments. The role will involve the preparation of scheme design for planning, detailed designs and tender packages, as well as subsequent monitoring on site, for roads and access, drainage, SUDs measures, water supply and utilities infrastructure associated with building projects in Birmingham and the surrounding counties.
Applicants should have a in civil engineering degree and at least three years previous experience in the design of civil engineering works. Experience in the planning and design of roads and highways, signage and markings, foul and surface water sewer networks, attenuation systems and standards in Ireland will be essential. Familiarity with drainage network design software and with the standard traffic modelling software is a distinct advantage. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and will need to be capable of preparing technical reports of a high standard.
