As part of the Technology, Digital and Data Team, your role is to deliver a comprehensive business partnering and advisory service, including early liaison and planning, to support business change and transformation plans, ensuring that teams, leaders and all colleagues receive a professional, people focused and efficient service.

Acting as a subject matter expert will enable business users to understand the impact of technology on their business objectives. Working with other IT colleagues and external vendors to work through solution designs and determine the full implementation requirements. Bringing business plans to life will involve leading and coordinating ‘quick wins,’ small projects and change requests through to contributing to larger scale projects. You will lead team of business analysts and supporting staff to ensure that change is managed effectively and implemented into business-as-usual services.
You will be confident with a natural ability to facilitate conflict resolution but make tough recommendations and / or decisions when required, including providing explanations on complex technical issues. With an exceptional drive to get things done and deliver business value showing integrity and having high work standards. As a manager you will also be proactive and passionate about continuous improvement and selfdevelopment for you and your team.Principle Accountabilities
* Leadership of the business analysis team, managing their objectives and development, providing knowledge and guidance to the rest of the team.
* Partnering the business area to map out ‘As-is’ and ‘future state’ processes, addressing business problems.
* Produce requirements documentation of what is required to achieve success measures identified for all changes.
* Facilitate the solution design with other IT colleagues and external vendors.
* Development of rigorous test plans and scripts with users, customers, and vendors with collation of results into the project management process.
* To develop and maintain a network of relationships within business partnering areas to keep informed and up to date on business developments by team meeting attendance and 1-1s and enable immediate engagement when action or support is needed.
* Ensure that specific focus is given to VFM and achieving measurable efficiencies by streamlining processes and utilising core systems where appropriate.
* Horizon scanning of emerging technologies to understand how improvements can be implemented into the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

Essential:

  • Experience at a senior level leading the successful delivery of complex technology and change projects.
  • Previous experience working in a business analysis function and working across a diverse range of functional areas.
  • Ability to analyse and monitor information/data and produce high quality reports and forecasting up to Director level. Including budgets, risks and compliance.
  • Can confidently communicate and influence across the range of the organisation (up to Director level) and externally including presentations and report writing.
  • Able to constructively challenge and give/receive feedback to all stakeholders about all areas of the business.
  • Can balance conflicting priorities of self and others to deliver successful and diverse projects and/or achieve performance targets and outcomes.
