Our client, a growing, family-owned bespoke premium manufacturer based in Haslemere, have engaged with Robert Half to secure a Finance Manager to support the FD delivering monthly reporting, business partnering, financial control and statutory compliance. This role will report directly to the Finance Director and will be an integral part of the finance function.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will take responsibility for:

  • Coordinate and deliver the group management accounts process.
  • Own Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Support FD in preparation of annual budget and forecast.
  • Develop insightful and timely management reporting (Month and Quarter end)
  • Build strong relationships across the business to provide finance input and support to key decision making
  • Finance business partner with sales, operations, IT, installations etc to ensure adherence to budget/forecast and advise on business or financial challenges.
  • Provide training and support to finance team where applicable
  • Work with the wider business to ensure that new initiatives are fully supported by finance and properly accounted for from the beginning
  • VAT returns
  • Support the FD in the year end audit process, Statutory accounts preparation, tax accounting, R&D tax claims and other responsibilities as they arise.

Your Profile

As the successful Finance Manager, you will be an experienced and fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience either from practice or industry.

This would be an ideal if you are looking for a broad role where you can work with sales and ops teams as a business partner and also deliver core accounting processes.

Salary & Benefits

This Finance Manager role will pay £50,000-£60,000 per annum plus pension and 25 days annual leave. Parking is available on site and the office is also commutable via public transport. Work from home is available 2 days per week.
